- Guanacaste Sailing Charters, (its owners, associates, agents and employees) manifest that they assume no responsibility for any injury, loss or damage to person or property in connection with any service resulting directly or indirectly from acts of God, detention, annoyance, delays and expenses arising from quarantine, strikes, thefts, pilferage, irregularity, failure of any means of conveyance to arrive or depart as scheduled, civil disturbances, government restrictions or regulations, discrepancies
- Guanacaste Sailing Charters will not be held responsible for any loss of life, personal injury, cancellations, delays, over-bookings, loss or damage of baggage and/or loss of services as a result of the same caused by any transportation service or tours / sailing tours within Costa Rica from third parties involved in the operation.
- Guanacaste Sailing Charters reserves the right to withdraw a trip or any part of it, to make such alterations in the trip as it deems necessary for the comfort or well-being of the participants and to pass on to the client any expenditure or losses caused by delays or events beyond our control.
Customer Liability (Your Responsibility)
- Guanacaste Sailing Charters assumes NO RESPONSIBILITY for a customer arriving late or being a “NO SHOW” due to any problem of personal nature.
- Your Responsibility during a sailing tour You will be under the terms and conditions from each one of our tour operators, but in general, you need to maintain the safety and well-being of the whole group during a tour. Guanacaste Sailing Charters will no be responsible for a cancellation or exclusion in a tour due to rude or dangerous behaviors from customers.
- Your Responsibility during transportation to / from your tour You are bound to show up 10 minutes prior to pickup time for bus transfers. Guanacaste Sailing Charters will not be responsible for delays or missing any shuttle bus due to a third party or any customer’s problem. All expenses from that point on will be covered by the customer or the third party involved.
Medical, Health & Insurance
Customers with existing medical conditions should make them known to Guanacaste Sailing Charters at the time of booking any tour before their arrival to Costa Rica.
Customer Conduct
Guanacaste Sailing Charters reserves the right to disqualify, remove or ban any person at any time from any transportation service or tour even though they purchased the trip, when such person’s actions or general deportment impede the operation of any services being rendered or impede the rights, welfare, safety or enjoyment of others. Refunds are not given under these circumstances.
Payments Policy
A booking fee will be charged at booking time and the balance will be charged 15 days prior to arrival. Please make note that there may be exceptions to this policy based on some suppliers who have different payment requirements.
Legal Limitations
Guanacaste Sailing Charters(its owners, associates, agents, and employees) shall assume no responsibility nor liability for: injury, damage, loss, accident, delay, or irregularity to person or property in connection with any service provided or resulting directly from the following: weather and road conditions, breakdowns, strikes, war, riots, acts of God, detention annoyance, terrorism, thefts, pilferage, force majeure, civil disturbances, government restrictions or regulations, delays and expenses arising from quarantine, failure of any means of conveyance to arrive or depart as scheduled, and discrepancies or changes.
By tendering payment to Guanacaste Sailing Charters for any and all services, the participant(s) agrees to accept and be bound by the terms and conditions on this page.
In the Case of any Customer Cancellation
Please understand that we do need to cover the cost of our Travel Advisors working with you. When a cancellation occurs we have performed all of the steps to book services for you and a cancellation means we must follow almost the same steps to cancel things for you. Our cancellation policy is very simple: we apply the same general cancellation policy of our service providers plus a 7.5% of the total amount of money billed to you.
